5th Alarm Events is a Non Profit Event Company. Our primary mission is conducting Firefighter Stair Climbs for charity across the country. The organization was founded and is run by firefighters who recognize the specialized needs of their fellow fire service professionals competing in climb events. The annual Stair Climb event in Seattle has grown to 1500 Firefighter participants under the 5th Alarm Event members' leadership. The money donated now tops $750K each year in Seattle alone.
5th Alarm Events is taking their knowledge and experience to cities throughout the US, currently
working towards their 1st annual San Francisco Firefighter Stair Climb, which is tentatively scheduled for July 17th, 2010. We have secured a landmark building in San Francisco, The Trans America Pyramid for conducting the 1st Annual San Francisco Firefighter Stair Climb. Firefighters will be climbing in Bunker Gear for the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program, Bothin Burn Center, and the Alisa Ann Ruch Foundation. Our team is also exploring the city of Miami to kick-off the beginning of 2011. Each new city has plenty of variety to peak everyone’s interests. Every new stairwell will challenge competitors in a fresh way.
